We interviewed Audrey and Oscar, managers of the establishment and parents of little Aurèle, to tell us their story.
"A timeless getaway outside of Paris!"
How did your path cross with that of the Hôtel Particulier? Was it a dream? An opportunity?
The Hôtel Particulier Montmartre was born from the meeting of Oscar's father and mother. They combined their expertise in cinema, contemporary art, and interior design to create a very intimate guest house.
Oscar took over the reins a little over 10 years ago with a firm resolve to carry on this family adventure and reveal this hidden gem to a wider audience by developing the restaurant and then the bar.
So I would say that the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre is second nature, very much like a family member to us.
What memories or feelings do you hope your guests take away from their time at the Hôtel Particulier?
That of a timeless getaway outside of Paris!
Thanks to its closeness to nature and its beauty, I feel the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre allows you to reconnect with yourself and the present moment. It is not just another drink or another dinner shared here, but a genuine moment of sharing and well-being.
A little something that makes your Hotel so unique?
Its family life!
People often say it is a "former" family home, but in reality, it still is. Except that the family grows every day with many new guests at our table!
Yet the family dimension is perhaps what makes us unique, at least in Paris. At a time when many establishments are being bought out and standardised, especially by large groups, we remain the same
as 10 years ago, with the same values, the same passion (and even our mood swings!). It is a true home for living for our family as well as for everyone we welcome here. What is the point of having the largest hotel garden in Paris if you can't watch your kid blossom in it?
You have an adorable little girl, Aurèle. How do you balance managing the Hotel with family life?
We try to bring Aurèle into the Hotel's gardens as often as possible.
The line between family and professional life does not really exist, which is often a balancing act, but one we usually manage to turn to our advantage.

Would you say your establishment is kid-friendly?
You would have to ask the children you did the photoshoot with at the Hôtel Particulier Montmartre! But from memory, they looked rather happy!
Our establishment is family-friendly; from the youngest to the oldest, everyone feels right at home in our House, perhaps thanks to the surrounding lush nature, the Hotel's diverse spaces, or the good vibes that reign here—and probably also because it is big kids who run the Hotel!
